About us
Daisy Daycare was registered by OFSTED in December 2019.
Daisy Daycare cares for children aged 6 weeks to 5years and is open Monday-Friday 7.30-6.00pm.
We believe in learning through play, by providing stimulating and inviting play experiences. We encourage playing through exploration to enable our children to become active learners and give them opportunities to create and think critically.
We was recently inspected by OFSTED in April 2022 and was elated to have received a 'GOOD' rating for our first ever inspection since opening our doors. We are continuing to develop and assess our setting to always improve and provide the best quality care and education for our children.
We have been awarded our accreditation for 'Hygge in the Early Years' in May 2022 and we are continuing to implement 'Hygge' within our setting by embedding it into our curriculum and everyday practice.
Daisy Daycare Academy opened in December 2025 as an extension of our nursery.
The nursery cares for children aged 2-4 years and we are open Monday to Friday 8.00am till 6.oopm 51 weeks of the year.

As directors, we believe by having strong positive relationships with all our children , parents and staff gives us the insight to observe and reflect on what we can do, to continuously improve on within our setting.
Jackie McElhatton
Director/Area Nursery manager
Jackie is qualified in childcare and education, leadership and management.
Jackie has over 20 years experience working within the childcare sector.
From working as a nursery assistant, Jackie continued to progress professionally and was promoted into management. Jackie has worked as many roles within the sector, from room leader and senior practitioner to deputy manager and manager of an EYFS nursery. Also a manager of a before, afterschool and holiday club working with primary aged children.
Jackie lives at home with her partner, three children, pet cat 'Eric' and dog ‘Marlie’. Her passion is to provide outstanding quality childcare, have seamless parent partnerships and create a loving and warm environment.
Elise Hibbert
Director
Elise lives at home with her husband, 3 children and pet dog 'Annie'. Elise is excited to create a nursery that provides all the qualities of childcare that all her children have experienced.
